Election Day is here, and the countdown is over! We hope that you and your students have found these resources and sessions useful and informative over the past two months. Hopefully, there have been some insights that have inspired some, or hopefully all, of the young people in your class to get involved in the local elections and be heard! In this bonus and final session of the #ElectionCountdown series, we are looking at how to ‘Analyse the Election Results’, where to find them, how to interpret them, and what the results mean to both the local and national political picture. Before we go, we would just like to say a huge thank you from The Politics Project and all our Democracy Classroom partners to you for being part of our #ElectionCountdown. Thank you for your engagement in this campaign, we’ve had some wonderful feedback so far. Most importantly, thank you for helping to empower young people to get involved in politics and hopefully make a difference. For helping them to learn that their voice matters and should be counted when it comes to how their communities are run. 🙌
